jeans DIY

these are some things i want to try to give some old jeans "new meaning"

  • Patches-- basically, cover the jeans with old random patches, buttons, etc. be eclectic. look through your mothers stuff from the hippie days, or the disco days, or the 80s, depending how old your mom is. don't go too crazy with the patches or else that will look tacky. keep them spaced out. buttons (the kind with the clasp, not the sew-on kind) should be pretty small, and pinned near the pockets.
  • Paint-- this is a trick i saw on a girl at school today... she used read paint and put it on her hands, then on her jeans. i really liked how that looked. another way to work the paint (sorry i had to say that) is if you are in an area with a lot of space, you can splatter. which will look ridiculously cool.
it might take me a while to get these done, but when (or if) i do, i will post a pictureee

love love love,

Eliza
